Full name of 'M.G. Ramachandran' was Marudur Gopalan Ramachandran. He was conceived on 17 January 1917 at Kandy, British Ceylon (now Sri Lanka). His dad's name was Melakkath Gopala Menon. His mom's name was Maruthur Satyabhama.
M.G. Ramachandran's vocation begun in films. With a profound enthusiasm for acting, he enlisted himself in a show organization. In 1936 he landed himself a film part for the film, 'Sathi Leelavathi'. From that point forward, there was no thinking back for this skilled performing artist.
Affectionately known by the acronym MGR, Ramchandran was at first an Indian on-screen character who proceeded to end up an eminent lawmaker. He was the main prevalent Indian performing artist to fill in as Chief Minister of an Indian state.
M.G. Ramachandran kicked the bucket on 24 December 1987 at 70 years old. As an on-screen character, MGR was one of the best that the nation has had. As a government official, he strived towards putting a conclusion to debasement and abuse. After death, MGR was deliberated with the 'Bharat Ratna' by the Government of India.
